On March 16, 1958, the German Wilfried Kremers from Wassenberg, just across the border from Roermond, takes part for the first time in the International 250cc Motocross in Sint Anthonis.
Kremers comes from a real Motocross family, because his father is the organizer of the International Motocross in Wassenberg, Germany, which flourished in the 1950s.
Dieter Kremers, Wilfried's brother, owns a flower shop in Mönchen-Gladbach and has been responsible for the -Goldkranz- for the Motocross der Aces in Sint Anthonis for many years.
