Interview former Champion Gerrit Wolsink
On Saturday 7th of December, we were in the opportunity to interview former Champion Gerrit Wolsink. All this in preparation concerning the reunion Motocross of Aces, which we have planned in 2014. The interview mostly contained the experiences, which Wolsink has gained in the past on the famous circuit the Hoef in St. Anthonis. Like his first race in 1967 and the shining victory during the Grand Prix 500cc in 1978 and the victory during the Motocross of Aces in 1979. Fascinating stories about his illustrious career, his five victories during the 500cc Grand Prix Motocross in Carlsbad (USA) and missed Worldtitle in the last Grand Prix in Ettelbrück (L) in 1976. Wolsink confirmed further to be present during the reunion in St. Anthonis in 2014.
