Last week we briefly contacted Roger DeCoster about his willingness to come to Sint Anthonis once.
As you know, on Sunday 22th of August 2021 it will be exactly 50 years since the Belgian (now American) Roger DeCoster has won his very first World Championship Motocross in the 500cc Class at the famous circuit de Hoef in Sint Anthonis.
Exactly two years later, DeCoster won his third World Championship, again in Sint Anthonis.
In a few months' time, it will be easier for the Americans to make the crossing to Europe, provided that they meet all the requirements regarding the Corona measures.
DeCoster still aspires to celebrate this unique anniversary with a number of fellow drivers from the past and fans together in Sint Anthonis.
Mind you, everything is subject to change, no date has been set yet.
And as beautiful as 22th of August 2021 is, DeCoster has already confirmed that it will not be this date due to busy work with the AMA Outdoor Motocross.
